Pedagogical Approach<\/h1>\n

Routine and Structure<\/h2>\n

Every day, I strive to create as much routine and structure as possible. For instance, certain activities are always done at a fixed time, such as dropping off\/picking up children from school, and of course, meal times and naps. I also always try to tell children beforehand what we will be doing so they know what to expect. Structure and regularity are simply very important for people. <\/p>\n

Love and Respect<\/h2>\n

I believe it’s very important to treat each other with love and respect. I try to teach them to be kind to one another, to help each other, and to understand each other. Every child is an individual and will discover and develop at their own pace. As a childminder, I strive to guide them in this as best as possible. <\/p>\n

So, this is based on the 4 R’s: Rest(rust), Cleanliness(Reinheid), Regularity(Regelmaat), and Respect(Respect)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Activities<\/h2>\n

While I don’t have a fixed activity program, we do work with themes that change every few weeks. Children always engage in their own play and are full of ideas. I pay a lot of attention to the nature around us, and we spend a lot of time outdoors. For example, we regularly visit the playground or the forest so that the children can fully enjoy being outdoors. At the childcare, I have many toys that help children improve their skills. By observing and listening carefully during these activities, I can effectively guide them in developing their language skills, creativity, self-confidence, and independence.
