Are you looking for child-friendly outings in Wageningen and Ede? As a childminder, I love taking the children on outdoor adventures. Playing, walking, and meeting animals is not only fun, but also educational and healthy. With our cargo bike, every outing is a breeze and a joy: everyone can come along, and we’re already having fun on the way!<\/p>\n

Tuindorp Playground Wageningen: Safe and Trusted Fun<\/h2>\n

With my subscription to Speeltuin Tuindorp<\/a>, we can spontaneously drop by regularly. This well-organized playground in Wageningen has equipment for children of all ages, a sandbox, and a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for a morning or afternoon of outdoor play.<\/p>\n

Arboretum Belmonte: Walking and Learning in Nature<\/h2>\n

For quiet outings and nature experiences, we take the cargo bike to Arboretum Belmonte<\/a>. This park on the Wageningen hill has a beautiful collection of flowers, trees, and plants, and offers views over the Rhine. Ideal for a picnic or an educational walk with children.<\/p>\n

Stadsboerderij Wageningen: Goats, Chickens, and Guinea Pigs<\/h2>\n

The Stadsboerderij Wageningen<\/a> is a cozy, intimate place where children can meet animals like goats, chickens, and guinea pigs up close. It’s a great way to playfully teach children respect for animals and nature.<\/p>\n

Kinderboerderij De Oude Hofstede Ede: a Day of Animal Fun<\/h2>\n

For a bigger adventure, we love cycling to Kinderboerderij De Oude Hofstede<\/a> in Ede. Here you’ll find many different animals, a playground, and regular fun activities. It’s a nice place to spend half a day and introduce children to farm life.<\/p>\n

The Cargo Bike: Sustainable and Adventurous Transport<\/h2>\n

The cargo bike makes our outings easy and fun. Everything fits in it: raincoats, cuddly toys, picnic gear, and toys. For the children, the ride itself is already an adventure, and for me, it’s a practical and sustainable way to discover Wageningen and Ede together.<\/p>\n
